When we click “Active Response Health Status” on McAfee EPO, we see that there is an error in McAfee Active Response (MAR) and TIE (Threat Intelligence Exchange) server. On the “Active Response Health Status” page, we click on the “Mcafee TIE” server as follows. We see that the error here is the connection problem between the “ATD(Advanced Threat Defense)” and “TIE(Threat Intelligence Exchange)” servers.
ATD Connection | Error TIE Server couldn’t establish a connection to some ATD servers. At least one of the ATD servers listed is unreachable. Hints: – If logon is unsuccessful, validate that the credentials and list of ATD servers in the Policy Catalog are correct. – If Certificate Validation Enforcement is enabled and required, make sure that the ATD Keystore was properly set. |
Solving “TIE Server couldn’t establish a connection to some ATD servers” Error
When we checked the connection between McAfee ATD and TIE server, we realized that there was no problem. Then it occurred to us to update the recently released ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10.0 Update 12. When we updated ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10.0 Update 10 to ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10.0 Update 12, the error was resolved. The screenshot is as follows.
